A Full Review of the Theory of Electromagnetism

چکیده

We will provide detailed arguments showing that the set of Maxwell equations, and the corresponding wave equations, do not properly describe the evolution of electromagnetic wave-fronts. We propose a nonlinear corrected version that is proven to be far more appropriate for the modellization of electromagnetic phenomena. The suitability of this approach will soon be evident to the reader, through a sequence of astonishing congruences, making the model as elegant as Maxwell’s, but with increased chances of development. Actually, the new set of equations will allow us to explain many open questions, and find links between electromagnetism and other theories that have been searched for a long time, or not even imagined. 1 Short introduction The theory of electromagnetism, in the form conceived by J.C. Maxwell, can boast 130 years of honored service. It survived the severest tests, proving itself to be, for completeness and elegance, among the most solid theories. Very few would doubt its validity, to the extent that they may be more inclined to modify the point of view of other theories, rather than question the Maxwell equations. The trust in the model has been strong enough to obscure a certain number of “minor” incongruities and to incite the search for justifications in the development of other theories.

Electromagnetism-like Algorithms for The Fuzzy Fixed Charge Transportation Problem

In this paper, we consider the fuzzy fixed-charge transportation problem (FFCTP). Both of fixed and transportation cost are fuzzy numbers. Contrary to previous works, Electromagnetism-like Algorithms (EM) is firstly proposed in this research area to solve the problem. Three types of EM; original EM, revised EM, and hybrid EM are firstly employed for the given problem. The latter is being firstl...

An electromagnetism-like metaheuristic for open-shop problems with no buffer

This paper considers open-shop scheduling with no intermediate buffer to minimize total tardiness. This problem occurs in many production settings, in the plastic molding, chemical, and food processing industries. The paper mathematically formulates the problem by a mixed integer linear program. The problem can be optimally solved by the model. The paper also develops a novel metaheuristic base...

Using Electromagnetism Algorithm for Determining the Number of kanbans in a Multi-stage Supply Chain System

This paper studies the multi-stage supply chain system (MSSCM) controlled by the kanban mechanism. In the kanban system, decision making is based on the number of kanbans as well as batch sizes. A kanban mechanism is employed to assist in linking different production processes in a supply chain system in order to implement the scope of just-in-time (JIT) philosophy. For a MSSCM, a mixed-integer...

Electromagnetism-like algorithm for fuzzy flow shop batch processing machines scheduling to minimize total weighted earliness and ‎tardiness‎

‎In this paper, we study a flow shop batch processing machines scheduling problem. The fuzzy due dates are considered to make the problem more close to the reality. The objective function is taken as the weighted sum of fuzzy earliness and fuzzy tardiness. In order to tackle the given problem, we propose a hybrid electromagnetism-like (EM) algorithm, in which the EM is hybridized with a diversi...

AN ELECTROMAGNETISM-LIKE ALGORITHM FOR FIXED CHARGE SOLID TRANSPORTATION PROBLEM

Fixed charge solid transportation problem (FCSTP) is one of the main and most important problems in transportation and network research areas. To tackle such an NP-hard problem, An Electromagnetism-like algorithm (EM) is employed. To the best of our knowledge, EM has been considered for any kind of transportation problems. Due to the significant role of parameters on the algorithm’s performance...
